My Story
My name is Cristina Hagerty, born in Argentina, and immigrated to America with my parents. My great-grandfather was from Rhodes, Turkey and my great-grandmother was from Andalucia, Spain. My dad loved the outdoors, he raised my brother and I fishing, camping and visiting national parks throughout California, Oregon and Washington. When I graduated high school, I went camping through Banff, Lake Louise, Calgary and Glacier National Park in Montana. We never made it to Yellowstone so that one is on my bucket list. My husband, was also raised to appreciate the outdoors, by camping and traveling through national parks, from the west coast to the east coast. I have a Masters in Education, raised two beautiful boys and recently retired from the State of California.
I've visited about 45 States and over 25 countries throughout my lifetime in search of a different, unique perspective. My favorites are national parks and UNESCO World Heritage Sites. I am also a National Park Service volunteer. I'm passionate about traveling, embracing the beauty of other places and meeting new people. We find simple ways to see the best and memorialize our travels with digital images. These travel photos also share unique ideas, embrace diverse cultures, and tell the tale of wonderful experiences.
